There’s a bold new way to enjoy a drink with a view—high above the Afromontane forest at the Cliff Café, perched on the edge of Graskop Gorge. The latest addition to the Graskop Gorge Lift Co experience, this unique bar lets you sip and soak up world-class scenery, suspended above one of Mpumalanga’s most dramatic landscapes.

Visitors reach the Cliff Café via the newly opened Next-Level Walk, a no-harness walkway along the cliff’s edge. As you stroll, you'll be treated to the sound of trickling springs, hanging ferns, and sweeping views of the gorge. This natural spectacle is safely accessible—no ropes or climbing required.

Access begins at the viewing elevator. From there, guests can either take a short scenic walk to the Cliff Café or head the other way toward a descending path of walkways that leads to the Forest Trail—an immersive raised trail through the forest canopy. If you're walking the Forest Trail and crave something refreshing, you can loop back to the café via the lift or take in even more scenery on the return walk up.

This new walkway opens up gorge-top views once only accessible to extreme adventurers or drones. It’s a game-changing addition to the Graskop Lift Co attraction and a must-visit stop along the iconic Panorama Route.

Beyond the café, Graskop Gorge continues to impress with its panoramic lift, the thrilling 120m zipline, the dramatic big swing, cliff walks, suspension bridge, and forest loop—all showcasing the wonder of Mpumalanga’s natural heritage. With two distinct restaurants and now the Cliff Café, there’s never been a better reason to visit.

Whether you’re planning a scenic day out or seeking a standout stop along your Panorama Route adventure, the Cliff Café offers an unforgettable experience—perfect for a long weekend escape.
