This FAQ will answer most questions guests are asking about travel in the region following the 2026 Floods in Mpumalanga.


Is the Kruger National Park open?


Although certain roads, camps and entrance gates may be temporarily closed due to flood damage, large parts of the park remain open to day and overnight visitors. Visitors are advised to visit official SANParks communication channels or our offices for the latest update.

Is it safe to visit White River?
